The Vasjflows starts at the southern end of Vasj Lake (the lake is often included when speaking of the in the Vasjflows and is sometimes called the The Blue Eye) and leads to the sea through different streams. The stretch coming from Vasj Lake is called the Vasjtail and joins with the Hrimtie from the Hrim Rivers by the Haldean city of Scima to form a short stretch called the Thoughtful Vasj between Scima and Ognit where it splits into two streams. To the north is the Black Vasj that goes past Eadmond, forming the border between Artipellin and the kingdoms of Haldean & Goldhelm respectively, and to the south is the White Vasj, which goes past Wein, also in Haldean, and Riverwhite in Goldhelm. Where the White Vasj passes Wein, it branches off to another southern branch called the Goldvasj.

The Whitevasj was originally the largest of the three rivers going through or past Goldhelm, but when Goldhelm was founded a canal was built close to the Goldvasj and Goldvasj itself was opened up by removing a few large rocks near Ognit, creating a larger flow through the southern branches. Excess dirt was used to create the then border of Goldhelm to the west.
