Menthell

Menthell is the strongest royal house in both military might as well as economical. Their ambition to reinstate the Old Empire with a Mentell Emperor is the worst kept secret of the Realms but at the same time it's equally well known they couldn't take on all other houses simultaneously, which keeps the powers in check. They are also known for being good at intrigue which keeps their friends and enemies alike wary of them but at the same time this is a true fact and they still manage to slowly grow in power while keepign the careful power balance intact.

Besides their raw power and political sleuth, Menthell men and women like to relax and party with one of the many sorts of cider. Most farm ciders are just named from the family name, farm name or area, but some have what can almost be described as a "product name", which include:

• Cider Daze - Common cider made from the Daze Apple, which is popular to grow as the trees use less water, has smaller fruit but very tiny appleseed and flowers twice per season. It doesn't have a particular grower but is used by a variety of farms. Its name can sometimes also be used to describe "cider of no particular taste that will get you drunk".
