Oakshield have a long standing conflict with Haldean. Currently lead by Brunn Oakshield from the Northern Cross. In a moment the Haldean was in good standing in the Court, they launched a surprise attack against Oakshield and took The Cliff. Having most of the army protecting East & South they lost it within a couple of days. Counter-attacks were made and insurrections attempted to break the hold, but the Haldeans won. They responded to insurrection by exiling entire families and beheading those caught. This was 5 years ago. | |||

Notes
- Haldean administration centred around cities and important towns, bridges, etc. No specific border checks as such.
Haldean took Omnid from Goldhelm 30 years ago but lost Cross-knot later in the conflict. An occasionally violent truce exists.
Haldean, Goldhelm and three now erradicated houses tried to prevent Oakshield's creation but failed. The three unnamed kingdoms because their vassals joined Oakshield and Haldean/Goldhelm started attacking each other.
